1. How do I register my domestic pet and what is the cost?

To register your pet, please bring a copy of the rabies vaccination along with proof of micro-chipping (if pet is micro-chipped) to the Police Department at City Hall. If your pet is spayed or neutered the registration fee is $5.00 dollars. If your pet is spayed/neutered and micro-chipped there is no charge for the registration.

2. What do I do if my pet has lost its registration tag?

To obtain a new registration tag, you will need to go to the Police Department and pay a replacement fee of $2.00 for a new tag. You may have to show proof of registration

3. How many cats/dogs can a Windcrest resident have?

Per Chapter Three of the City Code of Ordinances, a Windcrest resident is allowed an aggregate of four (4) dogs/cats per residence.
