1. What medical services does WVFD provide?

All EMS services up to and including advanced life support. The city contracts an ambulance services to provide transport once the patient is stabilized by WVFD first responders. Contact Info

2. If I am having a medical emergency, can I call the Fire Department directly to get a faster response?

No. All 9-1-1 calls go through the Windcrest Police Department's Dispatch Office which then get sent out to the Fire Department for the fastest response possible.
