There's a traffic signal out in the City of Windcrest, who do I report that to?: The City of Windcrest's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of traffic signals located at Crestway and Eaglecrest and Midcrown and Crestway. All other traffic signals in the city are maintained by TxDot. Please contact the Public Works Department to report any issues with traffic signals.

1. What are the garbage pickup holidays?: Garbage and recycling pick-up does not occur on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. If your collection day falls on one of these holidays, your garbage/recycling will be collected on the next regular day.

5. My garbage/recycling was skipped, who do I call?: The City's garbage/recycling is handled by Allied Waste. If your garbage or recycling is skipped, please contact the finance department at City Hall.

6. Why do I have to pay for garbage and/or recycling when I don't use it?: The city of Windcrest pays Allied Waste for garbage and recycling collection for every residence in the city in whole. Every resident then reimburses the city for both of these services regardless of the amount of usage.

7. Can I pay my garbage bill by draft?: Yes, the city does accept garbage payments by draft (EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer). Please visit the Administration Office at City Hall as you will need to fill out an enrollment form and attach a voided check to start the draft payments.

8. My recycling bin is broken or missing, how do I get a new one?: Please come to the Administration Office at City Hall for a new recycling bin. If your bin is cracked, please dispose of it.
