Applications need to be submitted at City Hall Administrative Offices located at 8601 Midcrown Drive, Windcrest, Texas, 78239, Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

7. How long will my application be on file with the City?

All applications are held for one year from the date of submission.

8. Will you notify me when a job opens in my field?

If a position becomes available that you have applied for you may be contacted to inquire about your continued interest in employment with the City.

9. What about closing dates?

To be considered for a job, your application must be submitted by midnight on the closing date for the position. A position with a closing date of "Open until filled" means that applications are continuously evaluated as they are received. Positions may be closed at any time. Once pools of "best qualified" candidates are identified, the interview process may begin.

10. I have submitted my application. What happens next?

If your application has been successfully submitted it will be reviewed for qualifications and be forwarded to the hiring department if requirements are met. If minimal qualifications are met, the hiring department may contact the applicant if they wish to schedule the applicant for a job interview. Depending upon the requirements of the job, examinations may include but are not limited to a written exam, an oral exam, and/or a performance exam.
