Event and Additional Service Request


Windcrest Community events and interactions with the public give our Fire Department an opportunity to create a positive relationship with the community. If you would like to invite the Windcrest Fire Department to make an appearance at your event or would like a tour of our fire truck complete the "Event and Additional Service Request Form". Once the form has been submitted a member of our fire department will be contacting you to confirm the appointment.

Please note that our Firefighters continue to be on duty even at community events and may arrive late or have to leave early if needed. 

Additional Services

Smoke detectors can be one of the first things to alert you of a house fire. Our department wants to encourage people to have smoke detectors installed in their homes by installing or changing the batteries to your non-wired smoke detectors. At this time we are not providing smoke detectors.

Event and Additional Service Request Form

  1. Request for:

    • Tour of fire truck (at your event)
    • Tour of fire truck (at fire station)
    • Smoke Detector installation (non-wired only)
    • Smoke Detector battery change 
    • Have WFD parade at a special event

    Tours and Parades

    Tours and parades are scheduled between 8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM. Tours (at your event) and parades must be submitted at least two(2) weeks in advance.

    Smoke Detector Installation: 

    The Windcrest Fire Department will come out to your house and install Non-Wired Smoke Detectors and change the batteries of your Non-Wired Smoke Detectors. The ceiling of where we will be installing or changing the batteries of your smoke detector may NOT be over 10 feet tall.

    Hours of Operation for the Fire Administration Office:

    • Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM 
    • Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
