Building Services
Any permits, inspections, business registration, and contractor registrations will be processed through the building services/permits department. Our department has moved to MyGovermentOnline, a fully online system that makes the process of getting permits, inspections, and registration much more simple.

Code Compliance & Enforcement Unit

City Elections

Emergency Management
The Windcrest Fire Department manages the planning and mitigation of resolving natural and man-made disasters. Our department uses REAN, a free emergency notification system used to alert people of danger in their community.

Finance Department
Finance Department is responsible for calculating and reporting all the financial uses of the city. Some of the things they keep track of is the city debt, monthly financial reports, and other city financial uses.

Fire Department
The Windcrest Fire Department is responsible for fire protection and emergency medical service to the residents of Windcrest. Our department consists of both paid and volunteer firefighters. Our Department is dedicated to protecting and helping the people in our community and their property.

Garbage
The City of Windcrest has its own office for the Garbage and Water services of the city. The utility department is located inside the City Hall. New Windcrest homeowners/renters must come to sign up for Trash and Water service at City Hall. Learn more about Windcrest Utilities.

Human Resources
The HR Department is responsible for the program development and implementation of personnel matters. Some of the things HR is in charge of hiring new employees, educating new employees on policies, and answering health insurance questions.

Municipal Court
The municipal court department is responsible for the judicial process for the City of Windcrest. Any citations that you receive are resolved through the Municipal Court. Find information relating to the court procedures and pay your citation here.

Police Department
The department is responsible for law enforcement and protection of the City of Windcrest.

Post Office
For the convenience of our citizens and surrounding community, the City of Windcrest has a Post Office located inside the City Hall. This post office is a Contracted Postal Unit meaning that it does not provide all the services a full-service location holds. Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for the proper maintenance of the City's streets, green spaces, and municipal facilities. Traffic lights are not maintained by the City of Windcrest. If you need to report a light outage contact TxDot. The City of Windcrest does maintain some street lights. Call city hall or contact the public works director to report a street light outage.
