Inspections Requirements

All construction or work for which a permit is required must be inspected by the City Building Inspector. All work should remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes until approved.

How do I request an Inspection?

You may also contact the Permit Department by calling 210-655-0022 Ext. 2430 When requesting an inspection, you must provide contact information, project address, type of inspection, and permit number. Inspection results will be posted within 24 hours of the inspection under the "View All Inspections" tab on the online payment portal.

Required Inspections (Based on Type of Work)

All work that is performed needs to be inspected to ensure that it is done in accordance with the applicable codes adopted by the City of Windcrest. If you are unable to find an inspection that pertains to your type of work performed on the list below, please select "Other" and specify on the Inspection Request Form.
